Mingle Monday: How Do You Pamper Yourself?

I’m so excited to be introducing you in the coming weeks to a blogger you’ll just LOVE–my good friend Meg from the Life of Meg blog. Guess I just blew the secret!

She’s going to be doing a holiday guest post in the days ahead, and you’re sure to love. (I’ve dubbed her the “Queen of Cozy”.)

But in the meantime I want to give you a preview by introducing you to her fantastic Mingle Monday blog link-up!

The Mingle’s question of the week is this: What’s Your Favorite Way to Pamper Yourself? 

My answer takes zero seconds to think about. A deep-tissue massage. Though I do indulge in weekly splurge meals, I think it’s a great mindset shift to begin to think of ways to treat yourself that don’t require large amounts of sugar, alcohol, and fat! And massages, my pampering method of choice, have the fringe benefits of being super good for you!

(Yeah right, like that’s why we get them.)

This week’s Mingle Monday topic is a perfect excuse to talk about my deeper philosophy behind Elevate Mobile Fitness. What I’d love for you to start wrapping your mind around is that it’s totally possible to have a rich, pleasure-filled life that INCLUDES being fit and healthy instead of competing with it. For over a decade now I’ve been on a deepening quest for a fitter and healthier life. And you know what? The fitter I become, the more I’ve learned to love myself from the inside out. Because exercise first affects your mind, and then elevates all other areas of your life. Happy Monday!
